Veneer is stone hung on a wall rather than holding it up, and it lives or dies on what goes behind it. A moisture barrier, lath fixed into structure, then a scratch coat. Skip a layer and the wall traps water instead of shedding it.
The fitting is slow work and it should be. Stones get laid out dry first, sorted for size and colour so the wall does not fall into a pattern the eye can catch. Cut edges face down and inward where they will not be seen.
We work in natural stone and in manufactured veneer. Manufactured is lighter and more predictable. Natural has depth and variation that nothing else reproduces.

Fitted from the bottom up, cut edges hidden, joints kept tight and even.

Joints filled and brushed, or left dry stacked, depending on the look we agreed.
